Community Relations Communications Coordinator 

AMA’s Community Relations team is responsible for three of the chapter’s most important and valued programs: Mentorship, Collegiate Relations, and AMA Impact. The Community Relations Communications Coordinator supports the development of internal and external messaging for the Community Relations Program. This role will assist with curating and maintaining a communications plan, and will facilitate distribution of key correspondence.

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with AMA Triangle Communications team to develop messaging and promotions for social media and email to support all Community Relations programs
  • Work with each of the CR directors to plan the communications activities for their programs
  • For program-internal communications, work with each of the CR directors to support their communications needs as needed. This may include: active mentorship participants, collegiate contacts, and AMA impact program volunteers
  • Attend monthly Community Relations team meetings (1 hr) and additional meeting requests when needed
  • Volunteers at Community Relations events and programs upon request
  • Administrative duties as assigned

Commitment:

●    Serves 1-2 hours per week
