Community Relations Sponsorship Coordinator
AMA’s Community Relations team is responsible for three of the chapter’s most important and valued programs: Mentorship, Collegiate Relations, and AMA Impact. The Community Relations Sponsorship Coordinator ensures that all sponsors of community relations programs have a positive experience and that all deliverables given to sponsors or program participants are allocated or awarded.
Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the directors of all CR programs to track program sponsors, including collecting sponsor contact details and monitoring contract dates and deliverables.
- Works with director and other volunteer teams to ensure all contracted deliverables are met. This may include: logo visibility in communications, event hosting, chapter membership, or scholarships.
- Serve as an additional point of contact for CR sponsors in addition to Sponsorship team if they have questions or issues
- Attend monthly Community Relations team meetings (1 hr) and additional meeting requests when needed
- Administrative duties as assigned
Commitment:
● AMA Triangle runs on a fiscal year (July-June)
● Serves 2-3 hours per month
Qualifications:
● Active AMA Triangle member (required)
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
● Ability to work cross-functionally, coordinating across a large, dynamic organization with multiple board members and committees
