AMA Triangle Executive Board for 2025-26
Triangle Chapter recently announced the incoming executive board members for the new chapter year, which begins in July.
Recent elections were held for the roles of President, President-elect, Chief Operations Officer (COO), and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
The following members were elected:
President: Michael Johnson
President-elect: Jennifer Best
Chief Operations Officer (COO): Jennifer Gilmore
Chief Financial Officer (CFO): Jason Boes
In addition, current President, Gene Pinder, will serve as Past-President for FY 2025-26.
Michael Johnson
As Senior Customer Reference Manager from Red Hat, he looks after the strategy behind all of the content that comes out of the Innovators in the Open customer storytelling series. Michael received his bachelor’s degree from NC State University and his MBA from Elon University. He is currently President-elect for the Chapter.
Jennifer Gilmore
Jennifer Gilmore is the director of strategic marketing and communication for NC State’s Campus Enterprises, the university’s division for retail and hospitality. She joined NC State in 2008 supporting NC State Dining, but was tapped to build a marketing and communications department to support the newly formed auxiliary services division – Campus Enterprises – in 2010. She holds a B.A. in communication with a concentration in public relations from NC State University. Jennifer has held the same role in the Chapter the past year.
Jennifer Best
Jennifer Best brings over two decades of leadership experience in digital and demand marketing to her role as Founder and Chief Strategy Officer for JBNC Marketing Group, a fractional marketing service that supports small businesses. She provides digital marketing strategy development, HubSpot marketing automation onboarding, and marketing consulting and coaching. She received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Delaware. Jennifer has been the VP of Community Affairs for the Chapter the past year.
Jason Boes
Jason is a VP of Sales Operations at PartsSource. Previously, he served as the Director of Sales Operations at Align Technology Technology, where he has held a variety of sales support roles during his 7-year tenure. Prior to joining Align, he spent 12 years in various finance roles at CSX, in Jacksonville, Florida and Intel based in Chandler, Arizona. He holds a bachelor’s in Finance from the University of Florida, an MBA from Arizona State University, and is a registered CPA in the state of Washington. He has been the Chief Financial Officer for the past year for the Chapter.
AMA Triangle board members serve one-year terms, from July 2025 to June 2026.
