The Triangle Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) starts the new fiscal year with a mix of new and previous board members as it works to provide its members with events, educational programs, and professional connections.
Gene Pinder, the former President-elect and VP of Membership are leading this year’s Board of Directors. Gene is a long-time member of the AMA and an active volunteer.
“I’m looking forward to working with this leadership team,” said Pinder. “Our goal is to provide the highest quality marketing programs and activities in the Triangle, and we have the pieces in place to make that happen. It’s going to be an exciting year.”
Board members who are returning to serve another year (some in different roles) include:

- Immediate Past President: Hayden Sherwood
- General Counsel: John-Paul Schick
- VP of Strategy: Eric Megert
- VP of Membership: Kelly Parisi
- VP of Community Relations: Jennifer Best
- VP of DE&I: Dana Newell
- VP of Communications: Brian Basilico
Several new board members have joined the leadership team. They include:

- Chief Financial Officer: Jason Boes
- VP of Volunteer Engagement: Rachel Bonistalli
- VP of Programming: Becky Lee
- VP of Partnerships: Jessamyn Palmé
- VP of Career Services: Jennifer Kendall
The Board of Directors is responsible for all the Chapter’s strategic planning, governance, and operations. Meeting regularly once a month, the Board also sets the schedule for the year and provides the necessary resources for the Chapter’s working committees. Each board member serves one year.
