Here at AMA Triangle, our strength is in our members. Everything we do, from our mission to our programming, is in service to our members. And, we want you — our community — to get to know these amazing people.
Meet Ekaterina (Katya) Howard. She’s a website and email copywriter and strategist. Her passion is helping clients find the right words and sequences to create compelling copy that converts. Katya loves using customer insights and research tools to speak directly to a client’s ideal customer.
When asked why she volunteers, Katya said, “I’m an absolute geek when it comes to voice of customer research or customer feedback, so I was absolutely delighted to jump in and join the Analytics team as Surveys and Feedback Director.”
Sarah Finnerty is another one of our dedicated volunteers. By day, she’s a client advisor at Kelaca. Sarah capitalizes on her experience in recruiting to help our Transitions Mastermind group, which assists those in our community who are between jobs, under-employed, or simply looking to sharpen networking skills.
When asked why she volunteers, Sarah said, “I volunteer out of thanksgiving for the help I received from the AMA when I was a job seeker. The people are warm, friendly, and very generous – and I knew I wanted to be a part of that!”
Meet Matthew Royse! He’s the marketing director for Syntax and has two decades of experience in marketing. Matthew even used to teach social media + digital marketing classes at Duke University.
He serves as a mentor in our AMA Triangle Mentorship Program, and volunteers because, “It is important to help other marketers learn the marketing profession and what better way to say “thank you” to all the mentors who helped me get to where I am today than by helping younger marketing professionals with their careers.”
