AMA Triangle board members serve one-year terms, from July to the following June. This series is meant to introduce the folks who do the behind-the-scenes work of our chapter: those who dedicate a large amount of their free time to this group of crazy, passionate marketers.
We sat down for a brief Q&A with our board members, asking about their day jobs, favorite marketing tips and tricks, and more! Meet the infamous Danny Rosin, current VP of Partnerships.
AMA Triangle: Hi! Tell us a little about yourself.
Danny: Mary Oliver, the poet, implied that we are all ingredients of an extraordinary, beautiful world. So, what are we going to do about it? As a pathological optimist, I see the good in most things. And I think the verb “help” is underemployed. So, let’s connect. Through business, philanthropy, music, marketing, community, life experiences… It would be a privilege to help you or your organization stand a little taller. I am the co-President of Brand Fuel, a full-service, free-spirited promotional products agency that helps its clients elevate their brands. I am also the active co-founder of Band Together, a volunteer-driven nonprofit that uses live music as a platform for social change that has donated $10 million to The Triangle community. I am a tireless community builder, always on the lookout to help those in need.
AMA Triangle: Favorite marketing campaign or project?
Danny: Shine a Light on Security: Citrix Direct Mail Campaign: https://www.brandfuel.com/case-studies/
AMA Triangle: Tell us about your marketing experience. What do you love? What do you wish was better?
Danny: I have learned that marketing is about earning trust. It’s about showing, not telling. It’s about proving you’re different.
AMA Triangle: What tools/technologies are you using today that are game-changers?
Danny: The brains of the amazing, helping community around me. Less me. More us. Collaboration. Open source mentality. If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together.
AMA Triangle: What do you do in your free time?
Danny: Family. Live music. Philanthropy.
AMA Triangle: What are you part of the AMA Triangle Community?
Danny: VP of Partnerships, sponsor and member.
AMA Triangle: What is your AMA volunteer team working on right now?
Danny: Building Co-Labs to engage other membership driven organizations so we can connect, share, learn, grow, help and succeed at a faster pace.
AMA Triangle: Why do you volunteer for AMA Triangle?
Danny: Connection, business and personal. Learning. Funning.
